Reggaeton Reggaeton started in panama and in puerto rico, its a mix between reggae and hip hop but still its own genre, with a exploding "dembow" beat, wich almost every reggaeton track have. This beat was invented in 1991. Reggaeton started to be real porpular in 2004. The biggest and most famous artists in the genre is Don Omar, Daddy Yankee and wisin and yandel. My personal favorite album is "Broke and famous" by Nejo & Dalmata. If you like reggaeton you should check out this album its a milestone in reggaeton..!
